Our committee is comprised of loving and concerned parents who try to help link our school with the students in areas that are on a more personal level. Many achievers are over looked in life, but, here at the Riverhead School District, each student can be a success and leader in the community. We want to make sure that everything to help accomplish that is put in place.

I am honored to be writing this letter as the Principal of Riverhead High School. Since September of 2007, I have happily served as the High School Associate Principal. Over that time I have been able to witness the great things that our students, your children, accomplish on a daily basis. Whether it is their academic, athletic, or artistic accomplishments, or their community service through the many great service organizations within the school, your children never cease to amaze me with what they can do. It has truly been the greatest professional experience of my career.

As a teacher of physics, earth science, and technology, I have come to appreciate the value of an education full of challenging experiences that are also enjoyable and fulfilling. It is my goal as principal to ensure that each child reaches his or her full potential. The faculty and staff of this great building are amongst the best in the business. I have gained the deepest of respect for them and I look forward to working with them.

The PTSO meets, typically, on the third Thursday of the month @ 7pm in the High School Library. See the school calendar on the Riverhead School District web site to know when closings will take place. All meetings are weather permitting and during the school year.
